I don't think Milton ever came to Thailand. Same is true for John Denver, otherwise he would not have described West Virgina as "Almost Heaven." Thailand lives up to its advertising slogan, "Smooth as Silk." This was my second trip, what an amazing place. Friendly people, delicious food, lot's of natural beauty(ies), and Mother nature looks great too! Don't worry honey, I'm still wearing my wedding ring.
This is a difficult post for me to write because all the sympathy that I've been able to generate during the semester will fade away. Let me remind you that I am on official business trips, not vacations! All work and no play. Okay, that's a lie. I'm sitting under a coconut tree on a white, sandy beach in the tropics wearing a t-shirt, short pants, and sandals. It's early December. Sorry to hear about all the freezing saps in Missouri (trees, of course). Not that I would gloat, but take a look. http://www.kotaoresort.com/
For the record, I gave two presentations at the International Wetlands Conference in Khon Kaen (first trip) and I met with some resort owners to discuss water conservation strategies for tourists who visit the island (second trip). That's the truth. Yet, I sense that you are looking for something else, like a better explanation. Nothing is better than Thailand. I think I just saw Jimmy Buffet searching for his last shaker of salt.
I can tell the PRT is the best major of all kinds of studies. You are a lucky guy. Short pants in December! Fantastic.I am freezing in Seoul now.
